Mechanistic Toxicology
4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: CHEM 225 and CHEM 223, CHEM 345, or BIOL 225. Survey of the relationship between chemistry and industrial technology and their impacts on human health and the environment. Investigation of how industrial organizations can address health and environmental issues in the early design stage for products and processes. Within the framework of the twelve principles of green chemistry, case studies of industry/government activities will be analyzed in order to link molecular structure to societal implications.
