Philosophy of Mind
4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: One course in philosophy or psychology or consent of the instructor. Explores the nature of human consciousness and the self. Focuses on the views of contemporary philosophers, psychologists, and Asian religious thinkers; readings include classical authors such as Descartes as well as contemporary philosophers such as Daniel Dennett.
