Comparative Foreign Policy
4 sem. hrs. Examines foreign policy of various countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and North America (except the United States). Focus on top leaders and their worldviews; bureaucracies, size of a state, national culture, and type of regime; rising significance of NGOs, and International Organizations. The goal is to understand how and why foreign countries behave as they do. Simulation game provides hands-on experience in foreign policymaking.
