Nat. Pol. Unplugged:the Way Dc

4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: POLS 101. Travel course to Washington DC. Examines the political environment in which representatives,lobbyists, bureaucrats, and activists operate, with special attention to governmental institutions, the policy process, and the workings of interest groups and social movements. Field visits will include the U.S. Congress, cabinet departments, interest groups, and political consulting firms.
