She is Simmons: Annie Rothweiler Helps Fellow Students Stay Safe and Healthy

Annie identifies herself as a Simmons student who chose the college despite the fact that it is an all women's institution. As a first year, she knew that she wanted to study something in the realm of psychology, sociology and social work. When she came upon the Society and Health major she knew it was a fit.

It was Becca's initial interest in being a woman leader that put her at Simmons in the first place. She
says that without the small community at Simmons, she wouldn't have as easily been able to obtain the

A Personal Touch

I am an international student from Indonesia and I initially applied to eight colleges in the United States. I was accepted by most of them, but I still remember my excitement when I got home from school and saw the correspondence packet from Simmons College. Apart from the excitement of being accepted by Simmons, and being awarded an academic-excellence scholarship, what really moved me was the acceptance letter itself. Unlike other universities, Simmons's response letter was not an automated reply in a standard template. It had a personal touch.
The Best Fit for Me

After visiting countless campuses, I stepped onto the Simmons campus and felt like I was at home. Like the generations of women before me, I felt a sudden connection, as if there was a gravitational force pulling me in.
