Angela Regalado ’21MSN Helps Dismantle Barriers to Medical Care

Carolina Caring House Calls offers high-quality medical care to patients who are underserved due to mobility issues, disabilities, chronic illnesses, and so forth. According to The Salisbury Post, the program’s core services include hospice care and palliative medicine, as well as “routine, in-home medical care, including labs, X-rays and EKGs, holistic care, treatments plans and medication management, wellness initiatives and more. . . . Visits can be made to private residences or assisted living facilities.”

Family Nurse Practitioner and Simmons alumna Angela Regalado is a member of this medical team. “Every person matters and deserves quality, individualized care to help them live the best quality of life possible,” she says.
