Stacy Whitman '05MA celebrates the first anniversary of her brick and mortar bookstore, Curious Cat Bookshop in Winsted, CT, with an article in the CT Insider.
As Whitman says in the article: “When you’re burnt out or under stress, for me, books are the place of peacefulness and finding your place."
In addition to the bookshop, Whitman is an editor at Tu Books a small press she founded in 2009. In 2010, the company was acquired by Lee & Low Books, where the imprint continues to “reflect the rich and diverse worlds we live in to reach the “you” in every reader.”
