Merit Scholarships and Funding Options
We believe that your exceptional academic preparation and hard work should be rewarded. So while we offer Graduate Direct Stafford and PLUS loans, we also offer competitive merit-based scholarships.
Most programs offer scholarships, but not all, so it is important to check with your graduate program admission office during your application process. Check out scholarship options for children's literature, liberal arts, behavior analysis, education and public policy, library and information science, nursing and health sciences and social work.
Merit scholarships do not typically require a separate application unless noted. Decisions are based on your academic performance, achievement in leadership, community service, work experience, and other talents. Scholarships are often awarded for the duration of the program, but require enrollment in a specified number of credits, as well as a minimum GPA.
Paid scholarship search
We strongly advise you NOT to pay any scholarship search firm. Most likely, if an organization is asking for a payment to help you search for scholarships, they are not providing a legitimate service.
