Simmons Center for Information Literacy was launched this spring with generous funding from the Mellon Foundation. The purpose of the Center is to engage in interdisciplinary research, education, and community engagement to empower people with the skills of information literacy.
There are several ways that SLIS students can get engaged, including by applying for money to support relevant research, curriculum development and professional development.
