Dr. Jennifer Sweeney is a program evaluation and management planning consultant for libraries, schools, and other educational organizations. Her clients have included public, academic and special libraries, state government agencies, schools, human services and environmental organizations, and other nonprofits. She is currently working on strategic planning with the Monrovia Public Library and a facilities master planning project with the Yolo County Library System. Previously, she spent 19 years as a reference librarian with Cost Engineering Research, Inc., American University Library and University of California Davis Library.
Dr. Sweeney has worked on numerous research projects involving K-16 educational interventions including the NIH-funded Minority Opportunities in Research and Education program for the University of California, Davis School of Education, and has provided research and evaluation services for the University of California, Davis Library, Nevada State Library & Archives, Idaho Commission for Libraries, California Center for the Book, California Library Association, Community Water Center, and the Association for State and Territorial Health Organizations (ASTHO).
