Join the Department of Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies for our third annual Undergraduate Research Symposium, featuring three seniors each presenting their fellowship / independent study / thesis projects.

  • Lamya Richardson (Africana Studies & Sociology '25), "Sisters in the Struggle: Black Activism and Mentorship at Simmons"
  • Saadiqah Yusuf (Nursing & Africana Studies '25), "Sanctuaries of Struggle: An Oral History of Black Muslim Boston"
    The event is co-sponsored by the Simmons University Office of Research & Fellowships.
