Celebrating 60 years of 1965 Freedom Rally

Forward. Together.

Simmons University is proud to partner with Embrace Boston, local colleges, and community organizations to honor the historic 1965 Freedom March in Boston. Led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and local faith leaders, the march brought 22,000 people together on Boston Common in a powerful call for dignity, equity, and unity. This commemoration reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusion, connection, and collective action. Registration is required. ODEI has a limited number of T-shirts for registered participants—first come, first served. To request one, please email [email protected] after registering.

Join us in our commitment to gather in community over chaos.
