Amy Thrall Flynn 95’MA, ’21MA, Senior Literary Agent of Aevitas Creative Management, has been named “Agent of the Month” (for October 2024) by Writing and Illustrating, a blog devoted to children’s literature authors and illustrators.

Flynn, who pursued graduate studies in English Literature and Children’s Literature at Simmons, has 20 years of experience in children’s book publishing. She “represents writers and illustrators of children’s books, both fiction and nonfiction — including picture books for the very young; easy readers, chapter books, and graphic formats, and contemporary and historical novels for readers up to age 16. . . . [Flynn] loves the collaborative editorial process and is drawn to beautifully written and compelling stories, with an underlying guiding belief in the power of books to connect, inspire, and affirm the lives of young people.”
