Nursing Dean Discusses Tech Advances in The Boston Globe

The Boston Globe reported how nursing schools are turning to virtual reality-based training tools, including UbiSim, to address the nursing and nursing educator shortages.

According to Dr. Heather Shlosser, Dean of Simmons’ School of Nursing, “This [i.e., the UbiSim system] is a really fabulous way for us to supplement and augment our clinical experiences for our students . . . It really helps to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and application.”
