Simmons University welcomes Mansfield Holmes, Associate Professor of Practice in Finance. Prior to joining the Simmons School of Management, he taught for ten years in the finance department at Suffolk University, where he worked with university leadership to establish and expand the business school’s wealth management program. Before teaching and serving the academic community, Holmes worked in a number of corporate accounting and finance positions in the private sector. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Union College and his master’s degree from Boston College.
“I am delighted to be joining the Simmons community, as I am deeply committed to achieving breakthroughs in learning for the students and helping to build the School of Management’s practitioner-based finance program,” says Holmes. “As we continue to challenge ourselves, my main priorities are centered around helping students to intellectually grow, achieve success, and as a result, become more confident in their abilities to make a positive difference in our world.”
