Simmons Students Receive American Library Association Spectrum Scholarship

Five students in Simmons School of Library and Information Science were selected among the American Library Association’s 2024-2025 Spectrum Scholars.

The Spectrum Scholarships are awarded to exceptional students pursuing graduate degrees in library and information science, who have demonstrated commitment to "community building, leadership potential, and planned contributions to making social justice part of everybody's everyday work in LIS."

The Simmons students selected for the award are:

  • Leia Carman Barrow ‘25MS
  • Nebraska Chatham ‘25MS
  • Kai Miyabayashi McGinn ‘25MS
  • Kaylee Danielle Paul ‘25MS
