Jennie Sucilsky

Associate Professor of Practice

Dr. Jennie Sucilsky is a board-certified clinical social worker who has been in practice for 18 years. Her career is driven by a deep passion for clinical and community-based interventions. As an Associate Professor of Practice at Simmons University, she brings her extensive experience in substance use and mental health treatment, program management, and clinical education to empower the next generation of social work leaders. She loves teaching in the DSW program at Simmons because she has the opportunity to work with dedicated social workers from all over the country and all scopes of practice as they take the next steps on their professional journeys.

Outside of her work in the academic sector, Dr. Sucilsky maintains a private practice that specializes in addiction treatment and family work. In addition to clinical practice, she provides consultation to local non-profit organizations, lending her expertise and diverse experience in program development to help address the complex challenges of addiction and mental health.
