Professor of Practice Kimberly Boothby-Downing lives in Gorham, Maine, with her husband. She retired as a Colonel after 30-plus years in the Maine Army National Guard. She served as the Medical Command Commander for more than five years before retirement. She has been teaching Nurse Practitioner (NP) students for over 19 years. She has worked as an onsite and interim program director as well as clinical coordinator for the NP program. She works per diem at the University of New England in the College Health center as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner seeing patients.
