Maria Lycourgos has worked at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in many different roles, with most of her background in medical/surgical nursing. She has experience in addiction recovery, IV nursing, and case management. She grew up in the suburbs of Boston, and nursing is her second career. She has precepted, trained, and taught many students throughout her career as a nurse. She loves to teach. She enjoys cooking/baking, spinning, ax throwing, archery, hiking, and swimming. Her wanderlust started as a child. She has traveled to India and Nepal and is interested in traveling to Egypt, Petra, Bali, and Ireland.
