As a firm believer in the importance of higher education in sustaining a well-functioning society with engaged, thoughtful citizens, Tim Darby (he/him) finds meaning and purpose in helping faculty teach effectively with and without technology. Tim has supported technology-enhanced pedagogy in university, college, and global NGO settings for over 30 years. He keeps a strong focus on learning outcomes and enjoys consulting with faculty to identify the best pedagogical and technological solutions to teaching, learning, and workflow challenges. Tim earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master’s in Educational Technology, which enables him to maintain a human-centered approach to using tech and to provide patient and thoughtful support. Tim’s work-related interests center on equity-minded and inclusive pedagogies. Outside of work, he enjoys history, tiki culture, and English football.
