Vivienne Piroli is the Library Director at the Simmons University Library. She is received her MLIS from SLIS and holds a second subject Master's degree in history. With over 20 years of experience in academic libraries, she has worked in a variety of roles from circulation to reference and more recently as Deputy Library Director. Her research interests include information literacy, metacognition, and library assessment. She is a long time contributor to instruction in SLIS having taught in online continuing education courses, LIS 408 User Instruction and currently LIS 407 Information Sources and Services.
