Zach Pransky (he/him/his) is the Area Coordinator for Area 1 which consists of Simmons, North, and Evans Halls. Pransky is originally from Holbrook, MA, just south of Boston and has spent his whole life living in different parts of Massachusetts. Pransky received his Bachelor's degree from Assumption College in English Literature and a Masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Salem State University. His work as an area coordinator consists of helping to serve residents in their acclimation to the residence halls and building community, as well as supporting the RAs and making sure the buildings remain safe.
On campus you can find Pransky often hanging out with his partner, Meghan, who lives on campus as well and is always willing to say hi! Pransky also lives with his little guy Pumpkin, an orange cat who you can often find hanging out in the windows of his apartment.
Pransky’s favorite tradition at Simmons is the jewelry lady who is always selling her wares outside of the Fens during the week. You can always find such unique things! Pransky’s favorite part about the city of Boston is the small town pride while living in a big city. Also, going to as many Red Sox games as possible during the summer! Feel free to come say hi in the office or stop him if you see him around!
