Pre-Law Advising
The Pre-Law Program at Simmons University–open to all undergraduate students and alums–is committed to empowering students and alumni to make an impact through a legal education and career. The pre-law program offers personalized advising, connections with Simmons alums, application and test prep resources, and impactful events to help students and alums decide if law school is right for them and prepare competitive applications.
Pre-law students will be connected with campus resources, learn about opportunities unique to Simmons such as the Barbara Lee Fellowship, and become familiar with the process of applying to law school. Students and alums who are considering law school should register with the Pre-Law Program using the below online registration form.
Students are encouraged to select any major of interest to them. There is no particular curriculum path, major, or minor that is required for law school. Simmons' strong academic programs, small classes, dedicated professional advisors, and extensive opportunities for student/professor interaction and independent learning are an ideal preparation.
