The Morgan Library and Museum in New York City recently announced three new curatorial appointments. Among them, Dale Stinchcomb ’16MS has been named the Drue Heinz Curator of Literary and Historical Manuscripts.

Previously, Stinchcomb held a curatorial position for the Harvard Theatre Collection at the Houghton Library. He also published a photographic history entitled Boston’s Theatre District (Arcadia, 2021). Stinchcomb’s interests include Shakespeare, dance notation, Black theater, Latin American history, Tennessee Williams and beyond.

“It is a privilege to be joining the exceptionally committed staff at the Morgan, where the literary and artistic worlds are so thoughtfully interwoven,” Stinchcomb told Artdaily. “The Morgan’s collections are truly astounding, and I am delighted to contribute to an exhibitions program that I’ve long admired.”
