Current Teaching
- Currently teaches across both the Masters and Doctoral Level, both on site and on line.
- Coordinates and teaches the research sequence as well as Promotion and Health Care Systems.
- Interested in facilitating research dissemination for both Masters and Doctoral level students. As a course outcome several students have presented posters at national and local conferences as well as published in scholarly journals.
Community Engagement
- Serves on the Harvard School of Public Health Advisory Board for the Maternal Child Health Program. The Graduate program has a Dual Degree program in collaboration with HSPH.
- Faculty consultant on the Maternal Child Health Funded grant for Leadership Training in Neurodevelopmental and Developmental Disorders at Children's Hospital, Boston.
- Serves as the faculty counselor and board member for Sigma Theta Tau the honorary nursing organization.

Simmons University Receives more than $400,000 in a grant from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
Simmons University has received grant funding from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to address health needs in the communities the hospital serves. The $416,000 grant awarded to Simmons University will help support mental and behavioral health at Fenway High School located in Mission Hill.
