English Proficiency Requirements
All applicants for whom English is not their first language must submit proof of English proficiency to be considered for admission
First-year students where English is the language of instruction for the entirety of their secondary school education (3-4 years) AND who have not taken any ESL/ELL classes in 11th or 12th grades have satisfied our English proficiency requirement.
Transfer, Dix, and CompleteDegree students who took ESL/ELL courses in 12th grade can also satisfy the requirement with the completion of at least 60 college-level credits at an institution where English is the language of instruction; and students who took ESL/ELL courses in 11th grade but not 12th grade can satisfy the requirement with the completion of at least 30 college-level credits at an institution where English is the language of instruction.
We also accept completion of the Advanced Level at a Kaplan English Language School.
All other students must use a standardized test to fulfill the requirement:
