Study in Prague a millennial European city with narrow curved streets, marvelous courtyards, and green parks is situated in the middle of the Czech Republic and is a short flight or train ride from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Poland!

Host Institution: The USAC Czech Republic program is housed at Charles University - one of the oldest European universities founded in 1348.
Course Highlight: Visit Kutna Horá, a gothic church made of human bones, and a tour the fortress of Trezín which was turned into a concentration camp during the second World War. Courses are taught in English with three-weeks of intensive Czech language. Electives include Czech language, European politics, art studies and Czech cuisine courses where you may recreate traditional Czech dishes!
Housing: Shared apartments units within commuting distance of campus.

Study in Prague

Study in Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that remains an important center for French culture and history! 

Host Institution: USAC partners with L’Université Catholique de Lyon. The university has two campuses, both of which are in the Presqu’île at the heart of Lyon, on either side of the Perrache train station which connects Lyon to other cities in France and beyond. 
Course Highlight: Most courses are taught in French with a select few instructed in English, giving students the unique opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the language. Enjoy trips to various French cities including Paris, Marseille, and Avignon, while practicing French language with locals!
Housing:  Dormitory accommodation on the University of Lyon campus or homestay accommodation within commuting distance of campus.

Explore the vibrant and international city of Berlin! Germany’s capital city is filled with rich history, diverse culture and both modern and historical architecture.

Host Institution: The Freie University Berlin (FU Berlin) was founded in 1948 and has since grown into one of the most globally-connected institutions in Germany and the European Union. Freie is ranked among the top 70 universities worldwide and maintains a sprawling urban campus in downtown Berlin. 
Course Highlight: Experience life in Berlin, known for its delicious German street food, vibrant culture, and stunning museums! FU Berlin offers a diverse selection of English-taught courses perfect for all Simmons students excited to immerse themselves in German culture.
Housing: Students elect to live in homestay accommodation or the Studentendorf (Student Village).

Study in Budapest: The capital of a nation of just over ten million people. This country will steal your heart; lure you back again and again with its thermal spas, natural beauty and hermetic language. 

Host Institution: Academic Programs International partners with the International Study Programs (ISP) department of Corvinus University of Budapest. One of the leading universities in Hungary and Central Europe, Corvinus University hosts approximately 17,000 students annually.
Course Highlight: While exploring the banks of the Danube River, students may take international business courses or choose from a variety of humanities courses. All courses, with the exception of Hungarian, are offered in English.
Housing: Local apartment with US and/or international students.

Study in Budapest

Study in Reykjavik: forged by the fires of still-active volcanoes, this magnificent country straddles the North American and European continental plates! 

Host Institution: Academic Programs International partners with Reykjavik University. RU is located in the capital city of Reykjavik in Iceland and is the country’s largest private institution. 
Course Highlight: Experience Kverkfjöll Ice Cave, visit the famous blue lagoon geothermal area and see the Northern Lights! Students enroll in STEM & business courses geared towards upperclassmen. It is recommended students have a background in the subjects they plan on studying abroad.
Housing: Students reside in shared apartments within community distance of campus.

Study in Reykjavik

Study in Dublin: a city with Celtic, Viking, and Norman origins going as far back as the 7th century!

Host Institution: Study in Ireland, at one of Europe’s most prestigious universities. Since its founding in 1854, University College Dublin (UCD), has made unique and substantial contributions to the creation of modern Ireland as well as the European Union. 
Course Highlight: Students explore the green hills of Ireland and the bustling city of Dublin while studying courses from world-leading facilities. Including the O’Brien Centre for Science, Lochland Quinn School of Business, School of Nursing & Midwifery, College of Arts & Humanities. UCD is an ideal destination for all majors at Simmons University.

Study in Dublin

Explore beautiful & charming Galway Ireland! Galway is known for its brightly colored cafes, boundless live music, eclectic street performers, and world-class arts and entertainment. History and modernity unite in this city to create an ideal environment for discovering the essence of Ireland's culture, language, and people.

Host Institution: The University of Galway is the largest and oldest university in Western Ireland, set between Connemara and the Burren on the broad sweep of Galway Bay.
Course Highlights: The university boasts a large course offering and world-renowned research in Biomedical Science & Engineering, Web Science, Human Rights, and more!

Study in Galway

Study in Siena, Italy: nestled in the heart of Tuscany, Siena is a top tourist destination well known for its art, cuisine, and medieval architecture!

Host Institution: The IES Abroad Siena campus offers a rigorous Business & Economics of Italian Gastronomy Program.
Course Highlight: Enjoy classes in Italian organic cheese production facilities, utilize case studies from local wineries, and have lunch with the owners of an independent farm! Simmons students enroll in four courses for a total of twelve credits where you will explore how business and economic concepts are woven into the fabric of the Italian food industry.
Housing: Students reside in shared apartments within commuting distance of campus.

Study in Siena

Study in Krakow, Poland’s oldest nation, and the world’s first UNESCO World Heritage site! This mid-size, historic city boasts a large student population and is easy to navigate through by foot or public transportation.

Host Institution: Jagiellonian University of Krakow is one of the nation’s oldest universities and is regarded as Poland’s most prestigious institution.
Course Highlight: Students have the unique opportunity to visit the beautiful Tatra Mountains and the 700 year old Wieliczka Salt Mine. Students select the majority of their classes from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, and International Relations and Polish Studies. All programs begin with a two-week intensive Polish language course.
Housing: Students reside in shared apartments within commuting distance of the university.

Study in Krakow

Study in Granada, Spain: a city that, for centuries, was a vibrant confluence of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian cultures! Home to the architecturally-rich Alhambra, Granada is consistently viewed as one of Europe’s most beautiful and diverse urban areas.

Host Institution: Granada Institute of International Studies (GRIIS) is a private education institution established in Spain. It is devoted to the organization and administration of undergraduate and graduate Study abroad programs in the areas of Spanish Language and Culture and professional Studies.
Course Highlight: The University of Granada/GRIIS program offers a wide selection of courses in Spanish. Internship and clinical placement opportunities are also available. Nursing majors can enroll in a "Community Clinical" placement at the Hospital San Juan de Dios.
Housing: Family homestay accommodation.
Requirements: SPN 245 or above is needed to apply.

Study in Granada

Study in Madrid, Spain: the third-largest city in the European Union and home to a thriving culture of education, arts, sports, politics, economics, and entertainment!

Host Institution: The USAC Madrid program is housed at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos - a public university with approximately 35,000 students distributed among four campuses throughout metropolitan Madrid. 
Course Highlight: Discover Toledo, an incredible medieval city, overlooking the Tagus River. Explore Segovia, one of the most visited cities in Spain, and see the impeccably preserved Roman aqueducts. While in Madrid students may choose from a wide variety of courses such as intensive language, Spanish and European studies, art history, Spanish cinema, history of photography, and drawing. Courses are available in both English and Spanish.

Study at Universidad Rey Juan Carlosin Madrid

Explore the exciting city of London while simultaneously enjoying the beautiful parkland campus and close-knit community nestled in beautiful south west London. 

Host Institution: University of Roehampton is a friendly, modern, lively community, with a growing international reputation for the high quality of its teaching and research. The relatively small class sizes mean you are offered a more personalized academic experience.  
Course Highlight: Experience life as a local Londoner while enjoying local events, festivals, quiz nights and walking tours with other students! Roehampton University has a broad range of courses available in many majors. You can choose to specialize in a single pathway, relating to your Simmons major or you can choose courses from a variety of pathways to fulfill minor or KCA requirements.
Housing: Students reside in dormitory accommodation on campus. Semester students are housed in the Standard Accommodations.
